I recently visited the Amplifon Clinic in Maninagar, Ahmedabad, for fine-tuning of my Signia Silk IX CROS hearing aid. While I was already satisfied with my current hearing aid, I appreciated Audiologist Mr. Ravi’s expertise and patient counseling. He explained in detail the benefits of using a dedicated hearing aid for my left ear (which has partial hearing loss) instead of relying solely on a CROS system—which doesn’t actively use the affected ear for hearing. Mr. Ravi thoroughly reviewed my audiogram and suggested I try the Phonak Naida Lumity L30-PR model. The difference was noticeable right away; the device suited my needs perfectly. Mr. Ravi clearly outlined how stimulating my affected ear with an appropriate hearing aid could potentially improve my hearing, as it encourages the brain to process sound from both ears. Thanks to his knowledgeable advice and clear explanations, I felt confident moving forward and ultimately purchased the recommended hearing aid. I’m very pleased with the new device and grateful to Mr. Ravi for his thorough, caring, and practical approach. I highly recommend him and the Amplifon team for anyone seeking professional, patient-centered hearing care in Ahmedabad.
